Syracuse, NY — New York State health officials and Syracuse University faculty have issued the following advisory as flu season gets underway:

If you think you may have the Bieber virus (originally nicknamed “Bieber Fever“), please do not come to class.
If you exhibit the symptoms of the ailment (fever at 100 degrees or higher and/or the urge to dance), you should stay home until you are 24 hours past the urge to need somebody to love, without the help of fever-reducing medications.
You may be asked to visit the Health Center if you are exhibiting these symptoms. Unfortunately, there is no vaccine available at this time.
